That's good advice. What was the temperature before you had a heater?

hi.. again i need your help.

I have employed 2 canister filters Sunsun HW 302 & 304.
Also change water 60% weekly for 48inch X 30inch X 30inch.

But he is getting cloudy eyes regularly.. Earlier he was cured with help of melafix, but again he is suffering from cloudy eyes. Moreover this time there is small patch of white fungus like on his back.. As i touched it the thing got off, but it was floating like small pieces of skin. But there is no visiual wonds.

He is eating normally. I feed him with massivorous pellets, alage wafers and blood worms.

Is there any health issue with lungfish ?

Seems unusual. I would do large waterchanges daily, keep it at 80F. Don't feed much, maybe every 3 days. Don't use any medication or clean the filters unless you just rinse with aquarium water. These guys are tough so it will survive.

How often shall i feed him..?

I feed him daily.. Atleast 6 massivorous pellet or 6 algae wafer or a sufficient bunch of bloodworm.

Hi.. Friend
My WAL is now in 72X30X24 inch main tank and is about 24+ inch in length.

I m likely to move away and shift to new home. I have yard in new home, so i have decided to build a tank outside of 60" X 36" X 36". Will it be sufficient for him life time.

And i am also having Bichirs of nearly 20" & 22" can i keep them will WAL in same tank.

Please guide.

A small pond of sorts would probably the best choice, or a metal framed swimming pool of sorts for long term.

While those tank dimensions will last your LF a good while, it won't be for life.
