makeing the best HRP possible

ok i have a lovely male HRP how always breeds with his not so pretty wife. i decide to selective breed, but i dont want to buy another fish for the already overstocked tank. so my question is how would i do this? is it like making an EBJD?

cool but back on track how would i do this. i believe taking the nicest female from my next batch and breeding it with my male would make a decent HRP. then ill take the nicest female from that batch to make an awesome batch??
