Makes me ANGRY!!!

Don't have to worry to much about water changes,lol...

The other day I saw a 1000G tank with just a few minows, cory type catfish and small angels, maybe a total of about 50 fish, no more than 2" big and this was in a LFS down my way...

IMO- a giant tank with lots of schooling fish is more cool than just a couple giants that just boringly hover or cruise about.

Schooling fish behave more naturally when given the space to do so.. and several types of differently schooling fish is just neat.

I can certainly see being tempted to put larger fish in a 300gal, but some people may just want a terrarium-type setup with mostly plants and only a few small fish - just aesthetically pleasing.

What you suggested is far better than the alternative that you see so much, which is overcrowding and fish placed in tanks that are clearly too small for their size.

I don't have a problem with him keeping community fish. But it just seems like he could do so much more with that much space. you know.

The only reason it would upset me, is I could really use a tank that size, and he could probably get away with one of the 55's I own, and I'd wanna trade him, cause eventually, that's what I'm going to need. lol. Other than that, I wouldn't get angry, just a bit annoyed. :)

i think filling it with thousands of neons or cardinals would look very cool. and hundreds/thousands of cory's. ace display tank but i do somewhat agree about it being a bit of a waste.
