Makes me ANGRY!!!

well it depends i would kick my friend in the face if he had like 5 tiny fish in there
for a 300 gallon you could have like 350 fancy guppies and it would look awesome

A few days ago I went to my friends uncles houes and I was excited because he had a 300 gallon aquarium! Now this might not seem big to you guys because i've seen the gynormous tanks you keep. But that's HUGE! So I go into his basement to look at the tank and I almost killed myself! All that was in that 300 gallon tank was a few gouramis, minnows, corys, and a common pleco! He had like five good canister filters(rena xp4's) and It was a beutiful setup.:WTF: I asked him in almost rage "Why don't you put bigger fish in this setup!!!"? He said "I likes community fish".

Now people there is nothing wrong with liking community fish but he's keeping fish that can be kept in a 30 gallon let alone a 300 gallon! I think people shouldn't keep certain fish in certain size fish tanks. I've been dreaming of a tank that big and He's waisting it on community fish!

Fancy guppies?!? Are you high?!? Know what I would do? Throw some babies in there to grow into monsters....community tanks rock!

theres nothing wrong with that. ive seen people with shoals of 50+ cories in 360g tanks.

monster is what you make of it. Monster school of fish is just as good as single monster fish. Plus it's super easy to take care of. If you understocked and overplanted a tank, you would never need to do water changes

I think a bunch of community fish are cool its just you have to have more than a few for a tank that size...

Yeah guys, it's not like he has a flowing school of tetras or tons of gouramis. The number of fish he has are pretty low. It's not even that the tank looks bad it's just that with so much room and filteration, he could do so much more with that tank. I would gladly give him my 55 gallon tank where all his fish would be happy still in exchange for his 300 gallon.

well atleast his fish are happy in that big clean tank. I just can't help but feel a lilltle...jealous
