If you dont notice them, and they get buried in the gravel, the venom wont go away.Tom500;2692508; said:So are they easy to spot im worried about my other fish diging it up and stinging themselfs.
I try to get atleast 45 minutes, but 20 minutes probably works.Deaths Sting;2692583; said:yes i do! u need to start up a slow drip IV.
Materials needed:
regular airline - possibly used for airstones.
Styrofoam box - is preferred it will keep the water temperature constant
u need a fair amount of water that the ray came in as well.
put the bagged ray in the box, put one end of the airline in the tank and other in the box. Start sucking!
cut open the bag with the ray, don't touch the ray do all this slowly!
take water out every 5 mins then in 15-20 mins pour the ray into the tank
heres some photos!
I used this method on all my aros and rays and has worked perfectly fine.turkeyboy85;2692678; said:you can try it but most likely the flower will get bullied
also if you dont have any tube like that you can do what i do and just add a bowl of water from the main tank into a rubbermaid or something that you have the ray in and just keep taking a bowl from the tank and put it into the box with the ray... and then take a bowl of the water out of the box and toss it down the drain... same theory as the drip... just less material needed
x2, and plus flowers costs too much to gamble with.turkeyboy85;2692702; said:IMO i wouldnt risk the flower with it... there are some members that keep small motoros with larger flowers and have had success stories but i have also heard of flowers not being as agressive and end up dying from the stress
