The sump goes all the way down to the ground (aquarium is not on the ground). It can be isolated from the main aquarium (which i forgot to do) and each compatment can be drained separately

I know, unless the pim can squeeze in with them bioballs on the side (i did not drain that) then it is definitely gone.

i will be cleaning the other side sometime soon ... will keep updated.

It is OK, the surviving pim is growing like a weed ... so RTC should leave him alone i think

Yep, seemed to have no problem ...always swiming together

And now there is only one ...perhaps, as they grow bigger the compatibility would have changed ... i guess i will never know, but when they were together they were buddies (moe than foot long when moved)
