  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lol no

ever have a fish jump out of the tank to try and grab food in your hand?

I had a crayfish escape one night. my mom found it dead on the kitchen floor the next morning. scared the crap out of her. :D

have you ever found yourself playing with a fish bag rubber band, and realized you have no idea where you found it?

No, lol.

Have you ever had a tankmate go completely missing on you, write it off as eaten/deceased, and then have it show its self a few months later out of nowhere doing completely fine!?

Yup, lol I was so pissed because I liked the fish so much but then I was extremely happy when I found it again

Have you ever bought used equipment and right after you buy it find something horribly wrong with it?

on more than a few occasions.
ever had an unexpected breeding/spawning that made you realize, wow i must be doing a good job :grinno:

sadly no :(

have you ever feed a fish something they've been eating for years, and they reject it (and then you go, "well F*&%^ you then :D!)

Have you ever bought a fish you know you need a bigger tank for just as an excuse to get a bigger tank?

LMAO totally! When I was 16 I got two Clown Trig's and put them in my 55gallon (They were only about 3" each at that point.) and then over the next month, I pulled the "Innocent, surprised act on my mom and said "Oh my gosh mom these guys are going to get huge! I'm gonna need a waaayyy bigger tank now!!"
Yea I think she knew that it was all a scam on her the whole time because when we did buy the bigger tank (a 500 gallon), the guy at the store was like "Yea wow that's a huge upgrade!!", and she was like "Oh don't worry, the Marine Biologist here is going to learn what the term "Financing" means, real quick!".... And I did too. $300 bucks a month to pay that thing off.

Have you ever tried to walk a noob friend of yours through setting up their tank, but they kept looking at you like they were brain dead, so you eventually just said "Ya know what, nevamind, move I will do it."?
