Marketplace feedback for those who bailed?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have people ask me all the time about other people in my area. A certain person I know is very flaky and if you think people dont care about that you are very incorrect IMHO. He gets many potential buyers who do NOT do transactions with him for this sole purpose. I have VERY limited free time and its a pain to set aside some time for fish to only be flaked on. The final decision on this can be had in the staff lounge. Stay tuned!

Tell me you wouldnt be pissed if you put aside family or boy/girl friend time, drove 3 hours to met somebody then got flaked on?

So what ever happened to people who stand by their word? Guess their word means nothing...

The issue is how flakey was the buyer? For example, if a buyer tells the seller I want to look at the item on Sunday or Monday in an email. The seller responds to ask for the exact time and the buyer never responds, would that be considered negative?
To some people it might be a yes. The issue is where to draw the line on how flakey the buyer was. That can be a big issue in the feedback thing. Who is the judge? In my opinion if there was no items being bought and sold, then people should not voice their opinion in the feedback thing.

A flake is a flake and nothing can be done about it. It happens to everyone. I could leave a billion neg. feedback for flakes but I dont b/c that is not the purpose of a feedback system. The purpose of the system is to rate the actual buying and selling and nothing more. You are not there to rate someone on flakiness. I understand its frustrating but that is the world of buying and selling and this is something that the staff will need to discuss. Thats just imo.
So beautiful, yet soo wrong. The buyer is at his worst when he is a no show. No call, e-mail, just a no-show. The feedbach system is exactly for this. The transaction was bad due to a buyers poor performance.

What happens if the buyer or seller flakes and the whole situation is negative. You leave them a negative feedback. They do the same to you when you did nothing wrong? Feedbacks would be positive for positive or negative for negative wouldn't it?
