What happens if the buyer or seller flakes and the whole situation is negative. You leave them a negative feedback. They do the same to you when you did nothing wrong? Feedbacks would be positive for positive or negative for negative wouldn't it?
If no such transaction actually happened, then neither negative feedback from both sides is warranted. True that either of them wasted each other's time but is the feedback warranted for because no transaction actually happened? No. If they did the same to you as a way to get back for your feedback, then PM the staff to have this sorted and the feedback revoked for this reason. No negative feedback is justified unless the transaction has actually been done with less satisfaction from either buyer or seller.

A flake is a flake and nothing can be done about it. It happens to everyone. I could leave a billion neg. feedback for flakes but I dont b/c that is not the purpose of a feedback system. The purpose of the system is to rate the actual buying and selling and nothing more. You are not there to rate someone on flakiness. I understand its frustrating but that is the world of buying and selling and this is something that the staff will need to discuss. Thats just imo.
Ash said this best. I have always been on the same thought about the feedback system as she does.
