thats right SHs can breath air, and 'crawl' across land that why there are restrictions in many states for having them.

No species of channa can crawl across land.
 
Yes, both. And they DONT crawl on land. ;)

they will wiggle, but quickly give up and die.

I had a couple large snakeheads I got from an asian market, that I took out of the water in some wet grass. They did well in about 1 inch deep of water. but if there is no water on the ground, they cant move effectively.

Yes I have mentioned this several times to people on here Snakeheads cant take salt people put it in there tanks to cure them and kills them like a slug. A lot of fish with no scales burn through salt some cat fish cant take it either. O and Corys or smooth-skinned fish such as Kuhli Loaches and Clown Loaches.

Some fish are extremely sensitive to salt. Especially very low PH dwelling fish such as Snakeheads. Stotty makes a good point about them not having scales.
