Same here in this state but those licences are to help conservation efforts, not public safety.
I'm not sure if they do or not but I'm willing to bet that they can get some amount of information on anything or anyone they want if they deem it important enough....unlike that parody video that was posted a few pages back.Wow.
Just thinkin outloud. Does the FBI have access to who owns a firearm i assime they did but read some conflicting info. From what i read its sounds like allot of effort has to go in to verify this and that its not in a centralized system. Maybe if they had access to quickly verify this it could have been avoided ? Dunno

To your earlier point,I thought Delaware was pretty strict in terms of firearms licensing and purchases....maybe I got them confused with Maryland.
All this from a Californian for God's sake!Aaand my 2 cents. Imo a lot of the problem isn't guns, it's the schools. They've lost complete control of students. There's no respect for schools. Political correctness (imo liberalism) has ruined schools by giving every crybaby a loud annoying voice. These kids are getting dumber and dumber with every new Facebook feature, stoking their ego with all the social media celebrity other idiots give them. Used to be you did as you were told, and were expected to come out with an education. Now it's check out what I can get away with. Guns didn't show up in the last few years. There has always been guns in homes with students, always the possibility of a kid taking it to school and using it, like the kid said, it's the current society we live in, attitudes, our current "values." Don't take our guns to try and alleviate a symptom of the real problem, we'll just have a different problem, and ultimately be at the mercy of a government who may be tyrannical. Quit coddling these kids, start inserting foots in asses again, and shootings will go down.
I do but that comes down to the various laws that different states have and they will never be all on the same page.Legally he was too young to purchase a beer but old enough to pick up a gun.
No one honestly doesnt see a problem with this ?

Yeah really.Maybe, i bet if this happened at one of the schools these politicians kids went to things would be different.
