i never want another oscar:D..

i just hate to see fish constantlly put food in their mouth and spit it out... especially if it's been in there awhile. plus it takes a big load off the filters. i am the mechanical:D.

well my other option was green terrors, i just think their amazing to look at. do u know much about them? i was thinking of keeping 4 instead of having the 2 Oscars,

I dont do water changes

I engineer my own filters

I dont think 75 Gallon is suitable for two full grown oscars, and who ever said 55 gallon is crazy. yes you could grown them out in it. I definitely feel your 100gallon would be great for life for two oscars. 55-75 Gallon Minimum for 1. 90+Gal for more than 1.

Next thing is that even if you use the 100 gallon doesnt mean the oscars have to like each other. This is common if you get two males or a dominant male that beats up a female.

I had two in a 180 gallon, one jumped out of the tank and died due to the other one constantly chasing him.

i think i will do some tank swapping and move 2 of my 13" oscars to my 40 breeder just to show everyone that they can be housed happily in smaller enclosures.
