  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have lost a good few goldfish that I got from an unscrupulous shop.

I will see what tanks are available tomorrow and try to get some Epsom salts

I would say QT if wild caught, captive bred dip or QT at your discretion

I used to do this every few months for my sa/ca as a preventative when i was a good fish keeper. Going to feed the polys/cichlids this tonight

+1
wondering if this is why weeksii sensory pits are fuzzy?
also wondering if I should do this for my ornate in QT? One of the other fish in the tank had hole in the head.
Have metroplex, but that destroys internal organs/kidneys according to the article. Where does one acquire magnesium sulfate lol? Does an epsom salt thing do the same? Kinda confused about the article.

I can believe it. Hendre Hendre sitting on a mountain of gold and not allowed to touch. In regards to polys.

Magnesium sulfate is Epsom salt. Just be sure to get a kind with zero fragrances in it, which is harder to find than it should be. I looked at a whole shelf of the stuff and only one bag was just Epsom salt. The article tells how to do the soaked pellets - it's super easy and I don't think it can hurt. I would double check with others though, to be sure.
