Meet JR-MLX01-2

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
So therefore it is not the "fastest land vehicle". Technically and actually are two different things. So until this train is clocked at over mach 1.03 then I dont think it qualifies as the "fastest land vehicle".

How much you bet with me, that it will make it? :D

But what makes it even more interesting is that there is a concept to let it go through a tube that has a vacuum inside. That way the train drives through vacuum and could reach more than Mach 6. Imagine such a track would be build between Tokyo and San Francisco. You could go from Japan to USA in half an hour.

It definitly does since no plane can go from 0 to 500 km/h in under a minute.

no ... that is not true lol ... does the google search not work in japan ?

fastest plane on record does 7000mph

fastest land vehicle goes from 0-300mph in 4 seconds ... dude your just wrong lol

you don´t learn about acceleration in USA? I was not talking about topspeed but the time you need to push a vehicle from 0 to a certain speed. Looks like google is out of service + education as well on your side of the world.

You can´t do that with passengers. I think there is a difference between what is technical possible and what you can do to keep G-forces in a comfortable level.

I dont gamble.

It doesnt really matter what it could do. That is where you are missing the point. You are calling it the fastest land vehicle. I am simply stating a fact that it is not. Mach 1 has been broken on the ground. A train has yet to be clocked at that speed. So it is not the fastest. I dont care what calculations say. It still has not done it in real world conditions.

Ok, i agree with that. It is a fascinating project and has much potential. It is planned to go into full operation for public service around 2025.
