Meet Kittiee's Cats

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Take this advice however you want, but as a former bodybuilding freak I know the in's and out's of gaining muscle vs. losing body fat and if you want to burn that fat off I'd suggest starting to build your lifting routine now and work on building muscle while you still have fat reserves to use.

You will have to eat like an animal if you want to put lean muscle mass on, and its MUCH easier to gain strength and mass while you are fat lol as dumb as that sounds.

Going from no body fat to muscle gains is hard.
ah ok. I have to wait 3 months till i am allowed to use the gym weights, i am not fat to say, but i have deposits

in the most basic of terms your body will burn fat first, when its out of fat, if there aren't additional calories coming in it starts on the muscle mass. So in essence your body will gain more muscle if you have more fat to burn. You'll be able to lift heavier, recover easier, and overall get better results.

Cool catskittie, as far as keeping snakes away u should avoid any clutter around the cat pen, to keep off fleas and other parasites use some diatomacaceous earth

My biggest worry with snakes is that I live right near a river, and there is a car near the pen (hubby is on the process of rebuilding the motor in it) that I think would be a good place for snakes to hide under.

So far I've been told: no water in the pen, keep it inside. Avoid leaving tin etc near th pen, move car if possible (not possible yet, motor isn't in it) and not to leave clutter near it. If I do all this I should be right?

And I'll look into the other stuff, thanks! :)

Yea where there are hiding spots there are snakes. I saw a few snakes on my canoeing course in hiles and wood piles

What snakes do u get in your area hendre? Puff adders? Sentinel and bush snakes? Here we have garter, banded water, delays brown and a bunch of others

We have puff adders. I saw one while canoeing over the weekend actually. I have also seen a cape cobra whilst i have been here.

That pen is amazing. I'm pretty sure my cat would appreciate a beautifully built outdoor pen like that.. Thanks for sharing. Any pics of the cats enjoying their new pen?
