I would like to join a club and have also thought about starting one. The trouble I have is none are close enough and/or meet at a time/place that I can get to. The other factor is they are mostly for Mbuna keepers. If there was a CA/SA club in the area where I could activly particapate I would have no problem in joining.
 
You'd be suprised at how many folks come down from NJ and PA for CCA monthly meetings...if there's a particularly interesting speaker or you're looking for something to do on a Saturday, come on down (check on *** and maybe you could even carpool).

I know that there are some new world cichlid folks in the NE...just not as many as keep africans :(

Maybe I should see if there is any interest in starting a Centeral Jersey Cichlid Club geared towards CA/SA keepers. Could be fun.
