MFK is too PG-13

The world is not perfect. Some moderators abuse their power. I am not talking about only this fourm but internet fourms in general.

Yeah, I thought this way too, but I keep seeing several of the moderators use "WTF" and "damn".

It is supposed to be a kid-friendly forum, believe it or not. I personally think that MFK is too PG-13 in that there is too many swear words, not too little.

complaining about the word "damn" is a little over the top IMO. youre going from PG-13 to pre-school ages where you eat crayons, glue and still wet the bed. you gotta draw the line somewhere, and that isnt it

Yeah, there are some mods that I wish I could put on ignore, but hey, like someone said, it's their house, I'll play by their rules.

I don't know about you, but I don't know too many pre-schoolers that say "damn". Or 6th graders even. I just don't think that younger people should have to put up with it, that's all.

I fully agree that some mods way overdue it. One in particular, that I have never communicated with before, threatened to ban me for posting a joke in her thread in the lounge, a place for jokes, humor and, fun. Sure, it was ok for her and her crew to do the same whilst I was met with a stiff jab to the bracket. I steer clear of any of her threads but, she always seems to find a way into mine...

youre right, dont have to put up with it - youre not forced to be here. the day MFK bans the use of the word "damn" is the day i sign out and never come back. give me a break. you got two extremes here. those that want to cuss and those that get offended by the most harmless words

Harmless to who? You? Yeah. But a thirteen year old? I don't think a thirteen year old needs to hear that sort of language, but that's just me. And maybe their parents, but I don't know. It's up to their parents to decide.

And I know I'm not forced to be here. Unlike you, I won't leave if they ban one word.
