Normally i would say no way would frontosa do that... they never even go up there.. they always stay middle to bottom.. but during the night..arows do settle down and rest on the bottom.. 10 frontosa could have freaked and nipped.. and if this happens night after night.. he would sure look ragged.. so there is a definite possibility..it is not that the frontosa are aggressive but he was vulnerble and in their space.. so yes it could definitly .be a good possibility... i see mine resting at the bottom all the time.. i don't think fin rot.. or i would say you would have seen some indication on the fronts as well.. give it some time.. i think he just needs time..Brian Fish;2608465; said:I picked him up at 4:30 yesterday he was in a 220 with about 10 Frontosa.
The man said they never bothered him. I sat there for about an hour and watched the fish he stayed at top they at bottom. I hope its not fin rot or something else. The tank was crystal clear with 3 Aquaclear 110's for filtration. I just couldn't see anything other than those fish beating on him. I just knew I had to try to save him. He swims normally I just pulled some food sticks out that he didn't eat and he wasn't scared. He let me touch him with the net and just swam normally.
