Sounds like there is resentment or jealousy over the fact he is back in the big bucks.
Yup I do resent the idea that that sadistic #### is back in the big bucks. That goes double due to the facts that to many he's a role model. The message sent is pretty simple and sad. "If you can run and throw a football well you can get away with what ever you want." It's exactly that message that makes many of our pro athletes lousy human beings. The whole thing being worsened by the fact that being good at sports has nothing to do with being a nasty person.

The other problem with Vic is that on and off the field he was know for being a truly genial person. One of the reason so many people were shocked. He was viewed as Mr. Nice guy by both team mates and opponents. That is adding to the rancor he inspires.

I'm sure some of you will give bin laden a second chance if somehow he will be able to help your favorite team win....
Bin Laden? In that part of the world people couldn't care less about what happens to dog fighters.....What a way to make a point.

if he went through due process and came out clean, yeah i might. what's the difference between bin laden going through court and charges being dropped and what that guy is saying about big ben? if he went through due process and was founded guilty and he's immortal and is still capable of playing football after his 234214523454353 life sentences and survives the death penalty, i might cheer for bin laden the athlete if he helps my team. doesn't mean i like the person.

I'd have the exact same hateful reaction to him. A reaction I refuse to apologies for.

What about a rat or someone who puts a goldfish in a tank with Cichlids?

I wouldn't have to look far in this forum to find examples of the second one

So you would call his actions what if not sadism?

I was not disagreeing with what you were calling him, I was trying to say it seems some of us are becoming what he was just to get back at him.

Then your gripe should be directed to the court system and how it punishes athletes, and actors and bankers and everyone else who is wealthy and "gets away with it".....Vic didn't.

I wasn't fast enough to to catch the bin laden one.

You are comparing apples to oranges and the level of the crime.

Bin Laden - killed over 3,000 people

Charles Manson - I'm sorry I don't know the story perfect as to how many were killed... we shall just say 5 people.

Michael Vic - again I don't know the numbers ... we shall say 10 dogs

Bin laden - wants to kill more. Seems his time in jail would be life.

Manson - Acts like he wants to kill more... still in jail.

Vic - has said he's sorry, is out of jail.

hmmmm....

It really doesn't because the bottom line here is that justice was served....and so was time and life goes on.
