Yup I do resent the idea that that sadistic #### is back in the big bucks. That goes double due to the facts that to many he's a role model. The message sent is pretty simple and sad. "If you can run and throw a football well you can get away with what ever you want." It's exactly that message that makes many of our pro athletes lousy human beings. The whole thing being worsened by the fact that being good at sports has nothing to do with being a nasty person.Sounds like there is resentment or jealousy over the fact he is back in the big bucks.
The other problem with Vic is that on and off the field he was know for being a truly genial person. One of the reason so many people were shocked. He was viewed as Mr. Nice guy by both team mates and opponents. That is adding to the rancor he inspires.
