Thanks everyone

I''ll have to take out the female soon as they're showing more and more breeding behaviors.

Did I read this right, you had the male since he was a fry? If not, what did he look like as a Juvi?

He is soo sweet looking! I hope mine will grow to look like him?!

definitely the wrong place to post this but check your water parameters.

Enough inbreeding as it is. As I said in my opening post, she's one of his baby/fry.:screwy:

Any pix? These are originally from FishFarm, I believe they were bought from him during the ACA in Chicago.

Bob Randall was the one that brought them back and he gave him to me after he successfully bred him. This guy was the only out of the dozen or so stripe Midas that turned colored.

Here's a picture of him and his sibling when I first got them from Bob.

He's probably around 6" at this time. I was really hoping he'll keep his stripes.

Here's his brother.

Why would one sibling be barred and the other turn red? That is so weird. Thanks for posting the pic of him younger! I was curious what his nuchal looked like then.

I just bought a baby Midas/RD, about 3 1/2" and already has a nuchal!! So cool!

What do you feed you're Midas?
