Midas not growing at all

I got a male Midas nearly a month ago from Ken Davis. I'm really happy with him, but I just measured him and he hasn't grown a single bit! He's 8.5" and seems to be stuck in that teenager stage where he refuses to cross over into adult stage.

He eats like a pig, has a 100g tank to himself, and gets 50% weekly water changes. Is it normal for him to have stopped growing already?

yeah, probably started off growing pretty fast, slowed down now!

I really doubt he's got parasites. His poo is normal and his belly is nice and round, and overall he has a very healthy appearance and attitude. I just didn't expect him to not grow, lol.

He's fed 3x a day with various NLS and Hikari pellets, and I occasionally offer frozen foods but he doesn't like krill and the bloodworms get pretty messy. Any other ideas on helping him out?

He's exactly 8.5" total length, both when I brought him home a month ago, and when I measured him today.

Okay... I'm thinking of getting some Massivore Delite if I can find it locally. If not I'll order online. He likes Hikari Staple and Gold, and NLS large fish formula.

He's a real character and gorgeous. I'm just over-anxious for him to beef up.

Nice looking fish. His growth is most likely just slowing down a bit, have patience.

he probably hit the wall lots of fish grow rapidly then at a certain size they slow down
