yes thats why i want an oscar. there just so interactive. i think I'm going with an oscar(not final yet). if something goes wrong then i well setup my spare 50 gallon tank. however it will be awhile before my final decision because i'm still focusing on my newest fish(poly ornate). he'll be in my 125 however when it's finished being built. (like 6 months or so). i probably won't decide until i get my 125 up and running.

I would not get a Midas if you want to keep any of the other fish in the tank. If you could Keep the bio load down you should be fine with an Oscar.

But i used to have a red female oscar that would eat from my hand i trained her to jump up and take pellet sticks she would get 80% out of the water and grab some finger every time. First ime anyone came to my house and looked at my tank I would tell them to hold a stick above the water to see her beg, i would get a laugh, she would jump and the person would jump.

That's cool that your flower horn is like a puppy. I'm not real into flower horns but they do look nice(pretty, nice. Not friendly nice. Lol). Any where to buy Oscars specifically. My LFS drug them to make colors come out. Does anyone know if the gold oscars on aquascapeonline.com are real and not colored(it claims their not but I've never seem that color before).

How big is your ornate? Just curious

Around 6" or so. Just got him at the GCAS auction for $22 which seems pretty good because I've never seen one cheaper than $65.

$22 is great for an ornate! Especially if you bought him at that size! Around here, you're lucky if you get a 2" ornate for less than $60. Good grab!
