Midas Spawn in 540 Gallon

yep, that's me, too. I can't get the tank below 72 or 74 degrees without a chiller. Easier to separate the fish. Problem is, if I move one of them from a 540 to a 125, they're gonna be very nasty in a smaller tank--wet pet in a tank to themselves.

that's not always true...I have seen lots of fish in smaller tanks and they get along just fine. It may not be the case for a lot, but you can certainly pull it off with the correct amount of caves and hide-spots. Any type of tank has the potentiall to run better w/ lots of caves and hide-spots, which is why I don't understand why more people on here don't use them
 
ragin_cajun ragin_cajun whats in the 125 ?
 
Breidorhi, Carpintis, 2 Regani. All about 3-4 inches. They'd get creamed in the 540 until they get a little older/bigger.
 
I took ya'lls advice. I moved the Carpintis, Regain, and Breidohri into the 540. Moved the Midas pair and their latest 500 babies into the 125. If they lay again, I'm splitting em up. This is ridiculous.

The 540 is MUCH better now. The Midas had all the other fish corralled in 1/3 of the 540. They were crowded and mad, the parents were always mad, feeding time was total chaos.

With the Midas gone, the 540 looks HUGE again. :)
