LMAO!

So your original plan is the most immature thing you can think of?

I would just like to point out... I'm the one that called your approach immature...

And yes, this thread has been hilarious...

wow. are you actually serious? lol .. blonde moment? .. obviously i was being sarcastic.

and yah no. don't at all like the look of those catfish. i'm not a big catfish person anyways but the rtc's and tsn's have caught my interest because of their reputation.

so so far out of 6 pages from somewhat experts the most help ive gotten is i'm up to

1x birchir

what other fish like the ones i described can i keep? give me more idea's ..

that was my original plan actually .. lol still can't believe some called meee immature? haha. half this site is immature. when i look through the thread and in almsot every thread a few people have to make stupid sarcastic comments that aren't helpful .. thats by far one of the most immature things i can think of.
you have to see that these people care for fish more then they care about you .. so as soon as you say something about fish and its not a tank 10x bigger then the fish with 50x more filtration then the box says your going to get negative feedback .. its just part of it ... but you saying you dont care and you are going to do whatever you want just fire them up more .. and then you get less help .. so if you want more help just kinda keep it on the DL that your going to toss the fish into a pond or whatever later..

what im doing with my "monsters" aka rays is build a tank that is 72" x 36" 30" which should be ok for life or until i can build something BIG! .. the rays get 24" around full grown and they need to swim around so i think 36" should get me for a while .. its not perfect .. but i dont have $20,000 to drop on a tank.. so .. i guess what im trying to say is .. dont go WAY!!! over board on how big of fish you get .. but be more realistic...

maybe salt would be more your thing... lots of fish could live for life in a 180 and they look bad ass as well .. but i dont know you from jack so .. i could be 100% off track ..

all in all good luck with the tanks and fish ...

was.. was funny. now were actually getting to helpful comments giving me idea's instead of the same comment 24x lol.
No its still funny.
A 180 could house a few Lima shovel nose cats and your oscar. And some Endli's. I like the Tigrinus idea as well.

Maybe if you toned down on all the " Gimme gimme gimme " information. And took the advice of people with far more experience. This thread will be more helpful. In fact with the way your acting im surprised anyone myself included decided to try to help.

All you keep saying is "I don't like those" "Your not being helpful enough"

PS its Bichir btw and please do some research before buying one.

aww common... do electric... try a electric eel, for a 240, or a electric cat...

i know i jsut find people take this stuff to the extreme. they act like i just killed a 6 year old girl and am admitting it online or something .. if theres actually that many experts i find that they should try more to be helpful then saying the same useless thing that 4 other people have said.

anyways i'm not a big salt water person. the only thing saltwater id wanna even think about keeping are the sharks and as we all know those are even worse then the fish im talking about ..

so anyways to the people who call themselves experts .. take the type of unique predators i listed and give me some ideas of what i can keep .. i'm still stuck as 1x birchir .. after 7 pages of experts opinions i'm at one fish on my stock list .. soooo.

well your major flaw is that you think everyone here is a expert .. its not a req. for people here to even keep fish .. but everyone likes to chime in anyways ...

my 120 has 2 oscars 2 red hooks and a royal clown .. which is out growing his hiding spots really fast .. so i might have to re home him soon .. the 150 is a grow out for my rays .. so that does not count .. but i dont think i would keep a 180 for anything other then grow out for Pbass and rays .. but then again my dream tank is

a pair of leos, a pair of tems Pbass, 4 dats, and maybe a royal placo or something .. maybe even a payara at somepoint .. but the fish you want i dont really want to own .. so i am little help .

but your asking to keep some HUGE fish in a home that wont last that long... so dont be supprised if you dont get any help at all .. that is about the same as killing a group of church people on a sunday around here

Fish that will actually fit in a 180, excluding catfish and cichlids?
-Smaller Wolf fish
-Black Ghost Knives
-African knifefish
-Asian bronze knifefish
-Florida gar
-Smaller snakeheads
-African Pike
-Freshwater barracuda
-"Pike" Tetras
-South American lungfish

well after the first page i gave up on the rtc tsn idea just started looking for other ideas. but for 4 more pages after people kept saying the same thing over and over.

as for the otehr idea's .. don't like eels not really feeling the elctric idea but thanks for the help!

and the other comment. show me a pic of that shovelnose and of the endli just to give me idea's.

finally getting somewhere with the advice. .. keep the ideas coming. might actually be starting to get somewhere with this predator tank. and i still haven't forgottn about the snakehead idea .. but if i was going to do that i'd just get 3x channa bleheri and leave them in the 50.
