well after the first page i gave up on the rtc tsn idea just started looking for other ideas. but for 4 more pages after people kept saying the same thing over and over.

as for the otehr idea's .. don't like eels not really feeling the elctric idea but thanks for the help!

and the other comment. show me a pic of that shovelnose and of the endli just to give me idea's.

finally getting somewhere with the advice. .. keep the ideas coming. might actually be starting to get somewhere with this predator tank. and i still haven't forgottn about the snakehead idea .. but if i was going to do that i'd just get 3x channa bleheri and leave them in the 50.

-Smaller Wolf fish
-Black Ghost Knives
-African knifefish
-Asian bronze knifefish
-Florida gar
-Smaller snakeheads
-African Pike
-Freshwater barracuda
-"Pike" Tetras
-South American lungfish

nice not too bad of a list. id like snakeheads but problem is i can't have snakeheads + other fish.

wolf fish is a consideration. don't know the look of the ghost fish. ..

how big do the florida gars get? and can anyone hooke me up with pictures of the rest of these fish?

half this site is immature. when i look through the thread and in almsot every thread a few people have to make stupid sarcastic comments that aren't helpful .. thats by far one of the most immature things i can think of.

liking the lima idea now for sure too .. basically a tsn that just doesnt get as big? small difference in the look? well i don't mind that at all lol. right now my posibilities are ...

1x lima
1x some kind of gar (btw ppl i didn't know aligator gars got bigger then all these ones)
1x maybe a wolf fish?

how many fish around the size of these guys could i keep in a tank thats 150 gallons? since thats the tank i know for sure is for sale around here ..

Says who? They aren't as aggressive as many would make out...I personally have kept several species with other fish...too bad they're illegal in Ontario now.

ya took a few pages but we are getting somewhere now. . and the sarcastic thing .. that was just retaliation. anyways well move on from this. i might debate also keeping my oscar if i go with this set up. to keep this style of fish in a set up that will end up being mainly long skinny things.

The biggest lima I have heard of was 20" in a 15000 gallon tank. Id say on average 16-18" max.
Lima and endli's would be ok with a 150(In my opinion others may disagree) . The wolf fish might injure the other fish though. I don't have first hand experience with gars I live in California they are illegal
