Ahhh...let MFK do the research for ya

You'd be better off figuring what is the largest possible tank you can get and build a stock list for that size tank.

Very sensible this guy is making sense.

i completely understand what you guys are saying here but you aren't listening to me. maybe down in the states or wherever you guys are from .. bigger tanks come up often and are there for a while. well i'm not so fortunite. here .. a tank that is over 100 gallons mighttt get posted up once ever month. maybe less and when it does its gone within 2 hours ... so i can't afford to wait fora big tank then come on here get ideas to see if i'm going to like the stock list enough to buy that size tank. by the time i decide i like the fish i can keep in it it will be gone and it'll be anotehr month before i can find a tank. and if i don't get the tank before/at christmas then i most likely wont be getting it. get my predicament? i made that mistake with my 50 gallon. wanted it so got it as soon as it got posted then realized i can't keep anything in a 50 gallon i like so it was a complete waste of money. itd be a growout for another tank but i don't have space for both so it was just a waste of money that i have to go back and sell now to upgrade the size. so if i can get a stock list together that i like for a certain size tank then i'll jump on it when i see that size or bigger ...

how did we get back to this .. 5 useless pages. then like 3 pages of people who are normal giving me advice and actually got somewhere with it then all of a sudden it went back to people trying to get +1 in their post count?

no :S .. i said a 7 foot celieing .. how is that my theory. i was putting a 30" fish in a 30" tank. .

.

Ya I know what you said, that's why it was a BAD COMPARISON by you. I altered it so the comparison of the human height to fish length that you introduced would closer relate.:screwy:

Again post your individual questions in the forums they belong, this way you don't have so much mis-information thrown your way.

I can remember just last year, when keeping an oscar in a 50 gallon wasn't a crime...
.

Right, this was of course before you joined MFK? Looks as if you now have been informed on the oscar tank size. Now only if we can get you to stop posting bad info on jardini tank size:irked:

yes, I do need another post.

what I mean is you could probably research the max size of the fish you find interesting in less time than this thread have been going on for. If you ask for advice when you originally want paroons, rtc's etc and people don't say what you wan't to hear you probably shouldn't question them. step one is probably find interesting fish, step two is asking in the fishs' respective forum..

If you must fit it in "your room" and don't live in a victorian castle you can have pretty much none of the fish you mentioned in your first post and that is just not debatable. I came across as rude sure, but when you see people pulling their hair when you start questioning and sneaking around "facts" ofcourse you will get a reaction.

well.. read my sig if there is anything else..

lol .. wow still talking about the paroons and rtc's? .. that was given up on page 3 lol .. weve moved on. and i figure instead of taking up the whole first page with my questions ill keep it to one thread and be considerate. .. the rtc's etc were in the past.read the posts and catch up or don't post. and you say go research the max size of my fish yet everytime i do that i come back here and evryone says its wrong so ef that .. ill just ask here to begin with.
