I'm sure this has been asked before but the search if failing me.

The two oscars are still just babies in a 125 gallon tank. The tiger oscar is just a tad bigger than the my albino and he's the aggressive one.

Yesterday I introduced 6 Zebra Danios as target fish. (I'm aware that they will be eaten when the oscars get bigger). I'm planning on adding another 15 more Zebras as soon as they get through quarantine. The target fish have lowered the aggression in the tank quite a bit But I'm still looking at other ways to calm the pair down.

Tomorrow I'm putting in a tank divider and separating the two oscars. Considering that the Albino is only a little smaller than the tiger I was thinking of allowing him a few weeks to a few months to establish part of the tank as his territory and to grow out a little and lessen the size difference between them.

How long should I separate them?

Any other ideas?
