Why don't you approve? Do you not like women fighting or is it something different? I sort of don't agree with it because I don't see enough competition for it to work for the UFC, but Ronda is one of my favorite fighters to watch period. I thought that Strikeforce would end up being maybe the women's fighting company for the UFC, but I guess it's just going to dissolve unless they keep just the Challengers series or something.
 
It's not really that there isn't enough talent out there. There is. The big question is is it marketable at this point? I mean, the casual fan only knows rousey, cyborg and Tate. Gina's on an mma hiatus

You literally have about 3 big names. Half a dozen if you wanna reach

All I know is if a women's division comes to the ufc, they better sign Megumi Fujii. It's just a shame she's passed her prime but she'd still be a top contender

That's true. And Fujii is right up there with my favorite women fighters...pretty close call between her and Rousey.

I just don't like watching girls getting whooped on in general. Girls getting bludgeoned with elbows just irks me. Can't deny Rousey, as well as many others, are insanely talented.
Could you imagine if one of the girls got knocked up and lost their kid to a body kick, or ended up with a handicapped child? They do physicals before the fights, but as long the fighters aren't complaining about anything in particular it's a pretty in-and-out process.
 
I can relate. I was like that at first too. It was unsettling watching a girl get her face pounded that wasn't pron

I got used to it. And the strikeforce ladies really stepped it up a notch last couple years
