I love a good body shot KO.

The card this weekend looks pretty good.

I'm so behind. Only event I've seen in a while or checked the results for was the Dodson fight. A couple disappointing results: I was hoping Bisping would beat Vitor and finally get a title shot as much as I can't stand the guy sometimes and Belcher losing to Okami for the same reason, although he might have needed one more fight.

showtime is ready for his title shot man. if cowboy had not thrown the knee, I wonder how the wheel kick would've turned out. flashiest kicks in the ufc, and not only are they flashy, they have potential to put you away if they land. only thing is, showtime's biggest weakness is his wrestling which is ben's strength. they've both gotten better since they last met so who knows how a rematch will turn out.

but ben's got his hands full with gilbert

i'm gonna see this weekend's fight, stoked. my nephew's ordering it

Watching Bisping almost get his head kicked off was awesome. I like Belcher though and I was hoping he'd get 1 step closer.
The last card as a whole was pretty good.

Ya, Ben and Gil will be a great fight.
I'm not big on rematches, but I'd like to see Ben and Pettis go at it again. Like you said, they've both improved a lot since their last fight. I think I'd pick Pettis to win again.

I'm picking Aldo, Rashad and Overeem for this weekend.

i'm picking the same to win. i'm rooting for nogueira but if rashad wins there's a potential for him to drop to 85 to face Anderson. if he loses, that's out the window

I'd also like to see Lil' Nog win, and he trains with Machida who's already fought him. I'm definitely not counting him out. He's a good boxer, but there's a huge gap in the wrestling department and I think that will be the difference.

so gutted that Overeem lost. WTF was he thinking not showing Silva any respect standing up? It doesn't matter who you're fighting at heavyweight...just about any of them have KO power. He owned Silva the first two rounds. Sucks that McCall and Fitch lost, too.

I don't think it was that he didn't respect silva's stand up. I think he gassed. I knew he was fading even at the end of second round. werdum could've done the same in their last fight except werdum doesn't have ko power. this is why I've said before that if overeem ever fought jds, he'd get knocked out as well.

this time around overeem wasn't able to take any ped's, he was not as cut and came in heavier. I don't see him being at the top of the hw food chain. I can see them setting up jds and overeem now but he's gonna get ko'd.

I was not shocked at any of the results. only fight I was pretty surprised at was rashad vs nogeira. I don't know what the heck rashad was doing. he fought poorly. this is the worste I've seen rashad in a while. he didn't try to use his wrestling at all and toward the end when he did, he seemed too tired to be a threat with his wrestling

the whole event seemed kind of a let down. on paper it was stacked. but that's how it goes sometimes. with overeem losing, that kind of screwed up the ufc's plan. I know they were gonna market the hell outta him. plus rashad losing threw out the Anderson silva fight. who knows, they might still make that because it will draw ppv

The Overeem fight was awesome. It's been a long time since I've seen somebody KO'd on their feet and still eating punches like that. I don't think he gassed, his hands were down from opening bell. He looked overconfident after toying with him for the first 2 rounds.

If Rashad can't handle Lil' Nogs', predictable 1-2, Silva would kill him. Rashad was just as predictable with only right hands.

I thought that Edgar won the belt personally, but it could have gone either way.
