Henderson and Josh Thomson showed what legs kicks can really do. The visual on diaz and melendezs knees were awful. Although I think henderson did enough to take the fight but I can see where some would think melendez took the fight.
Cormier vs mir was a big let down for me. Mir looked real good and this fight fit him well. He did nothing to make the fight go his way. Never went for a takedown and had only one submission attempt that was weak for Mir. Not impressed with cormier at all. I don't see him taking on cain or jds and coming with wins. He wants to fight at 205 but I don't think is performance warrants a shot at the top 2 fighters in either class.
I was really impressed at the undercard fights. Love me some knockouts!!!!!!!

@danawhite the judge who scored it for Gil, wade vierra is a Cesar Gracie JJ affiliate/student? How is that legal? #ufc #ufconfox7
CSAC judge Wade Vierra runs an affiliate school of Team Cesar Gracie, and Gil Melendez is a Team Cesar Gracie brown belt, as confirmed by a brief google search.
zombie prophet has some of the best gifs out there
anyways, I just saw this today. interesting, one of the judges that judged the gil/ben fight runs a Cesar Gracie affiliate.

csac screwed up as well as the judge. he should've changed with another judge to do a different fight. this judge is the only one who scored the fight for gil. not that another judge wouldn't have scored it for gil, but for the conflict of interest issue, csac should've never allowed it, or they didn't know and this judge should be punished or something. imagine the controversy it would've stirred if gil won by split decision and this judge was the deciding factor. and if it was the other way around, cesar gracie's camp would've cried bloody murder
