ya, that's awesome and he is 40. One of the great OG's (at least sort of) still fighting and he's still only been submitted once!

after watching the whole Aoki fight, I would say that it was uneventful for the most part, but chess matches on the ground aren't boring for me to watch. There were some amazing and exciting flurries and when they were all tangled, it was great. Overall, I would say that it was a great fight and flashy in it's own way, but not fast-paced or electrifying for the most part.

What I found boring was Aoki and not the fight. For a good amount of time Aoki had top control and was not going for anything while Hansen was still trying for subs from the bottom. Aoki seemed just happy to hold him in that position without risking anything.
I didn't see it that way. His submission game is very intricate and only LOOKS like he's not doing anything. That's just my opinion and I could definitely be wrong.Reiner;3515253; said:

I've seen that, great fight. I love those types, which is a reason I love watching Barnett so much.
you can also watch on youtube, I'm glad Aoki won. anyone who thinks it's boring, don't know the ground game. not claiming that I know more than anyone but I was glued to the TV knowing he's just waiting for his opportunity. and the way he wrapped his arms around Hansen's leg along with the arm was slick. That's how he kept Hansen from getting away. As soon as Hansen made a mistake, Bam!
