The win against Hamill was an absolute gift from god decision but yeah I suppose he won

Rashad has seriously improved since their fight. Not to mention Bisping was a 205er at that time as well....
I agree Hendo is at the top of that class.

But the question remains who has Bisping fought that was really a good fighter that he finished ? Dennis Kang win was a big accomplishment ill give him that but honestly who else ? Other TUF guys ?

Ah yes, the old mma standby, wins only count if you finish the guy.
Sorry, John Fitch, apparently you suck.

I still say I do right off the TUF winners. They will likely get knocked off trying to get a title shot or fail miserably when they do get a title shot. their best chances are to land a lucky punch unfortunately for them

Roy and Struve will go at it and we'll see who was right. It could go either way but if Struve wins, it won't be an easy fight. If it's a quick win or stoppage, it will be by sub, not by knock out.

If two guys set to fight weigh the same, but one guy has a beer belly, it still doesn't necesarily mean the beer belly guy is lazier or have a disadvantage or is in worse shape or will not be as successful.

What do you all think of Couture possibly fighting Machida?

bad match up for Couture. don't think he will be able to catch machida or he'll get caught trying to catch machida

the only way i see this fight ever happening is if machida loses via ko to shogun and then losing via ko again on the next fight. Then i can see they may set this up but that's also if randy keeps winning.

a lot of people feel randy can still compete with the other top guys but i disagree. i say randy will get knocked out by Thiago, Rashad, Rampage, Shogun, Machida and Lil Nog. he may or may not still be able to hang with guys like chuck, tito, jardine, forresst and wanderlei (which i hate to say it but wand is at the end of his career also, just not as old as randy).

forget about the heavyweights. i think he will never be champ again though at either division

I don't see how he is deserving of a title shot.
Same here.I dont mind the legends match ups but they should be on Fight Night on Spike not headlining a ppv show. That win over Coleman does not put him in any title contention.I agree with Svang,Couture can't hang with the top fighters but I would give him a shot against that rampage guy.

Truth.

I think that Randy does have a shot against most guys because of how he goes about it, but I just don't see it happening.

Ok... So we're going to see Silva vs Sonnen?

Honestly, I thought Marquardt was going to run through Sonnen. I was very surprised by that fight.

i saw this yesterday on tatame but they did not confirm he was out, just confirmed the injury. i guess now it's official. bummer. i felt a lot of people was giving belfort way too much credit and he was over hyped. belfort has never done anything to show me that he is worthy of a title shot. he even felt he shouldn't have gotten the title shot yet but, oh well, he will get the next shot anyways.

I wasn't surprized. I never cared for sonnen, but i gotta admitt, he has never looked this good. i really wanted to see nate rematch anderson. now sonnen gets his wish. he has been very vocal about what he thinks of anderson. I am actually a little nervous for anderson in this fight. I think chael can actually use the wrestling to win rounds. he just needs to avoid getting knocked out and avoid submissions. if he can do that, i think he's got the fight in the bag. but that's harder said than done as we've seen. sonnen's key to victory is his wrestling and sub defense. i hope anderson knocks him out, but they've yet to ink it so we'll see
