Wes was dead to rights and McS never capitalized, so that's why I disagree there plus McS gassed, too. But, whatever, it's done and if you want to win, you can't leave it to the judges.
 
The fight was really close, besides landing a few good legs kicks, McSweeny didnt do much. For Shivers being as gasssed as he was, he still had more takedowns, submission attempts and even had him in the full mount, and plus landed some decent strikes at the beginning of the match. To me it looked like Shivers did more damage.
 
cool, but I don't think either has a very good chance...should be a good fight, though

what has Vitor done to deserve a title shot already? I'm sorry. I know he crushed Rich, but he only has one recent fight in the UFC. Could be a very good fight and I'm not trying to take anything away from Belfort's skills, but I just don't get it. Whatever. I hope they don't have a title eliminator and Marquardt and Hendo both get a shot.
 
I cant wait just got my tickets for Fedor Rodgers Nov 7. Whether you like Fedor or think he's a dodger with all this UFC problems I think seeing him fight for someone like me who doesn't make to much scrap is a once in a life time deal.

i'm so jealous. the two announced fights are gonna be sick! i wonder when they're going to announce other fights or lack thereof

I really think that they are worried that Vitor 1. doesn't have many good fights left in him and, 2. he would lose to Nate or Hendo.
Vitor can only beat guys who come straight at him and want to stay standing, like Rich, if he got in there with Nate, Hendo, or Silva, it's going to be a loss. This way they get a hype guy for Silva to fight, then they still have a couple solid guys to go with after Silva beats Vitor.
