Nice link to the fight and there goes Sonnen rearing his head and talking spit about Overeem...How did he do in his last fight?
 
ya, Overeem is ridiculous. And people say he couldn't be the UFC champ.

overeem is still untested at hw. he could very possibly become ufc champ, but i think cain would be a bad matchup for him. can't decide if he'd beat jds, but i think he beats everyone else


hamatoyoshi, thanks for the link. i knew dufee was outta his league. this match just sounded attractive stylistically, but i didn't give dufee much chance

Duffee is no slouch in the striking department and you saw what ubereem did to him. Granted it was not the greatest test, but a good opponent for most heavyweights. You can take preparation time into consideration, but all the time in the world wouldn't have let him beat alistair. I think he would have a tough time striking with Cain or JDS, but I don't think either can beat the K-1 champ there. On the ground, he would most likely beat JDS , but Cain would definitely be a test for him. Maybe he wouldn't beat Cain, but I have a hard time thinking that. I so hope he fights Werdum and Fedor this year and then goes to the UFC. He has had some big losses in his career but he's not the same person he was then.
 
what were the UFC prelims on? I was recording what was supposed to be them and I watch it and it's mother-fudging Space Cowboys :irked:

2nd round should have gone to Frankie! After the 97 punches thrown in the first round by Maynard, he seems a hair gast or out of rhythm
