I was looking forward to seeing the Cornier-Mir match and I expected more out of both of them but it wasn't a total stinker..Henderson-Melendez was close but I think Benson did enough for the win.Ive been a fan if his since the first Cerrone fight,good to see his streak continue.

some judges in a courtroom would pass up a job to another judge if a lawyer involved was an associate or friend
it's just not a good way to run something
I believe the judges are responsible for letting the athletic commission know if there is a conflict of interest. if that's the case, I would imagine the ac would've never allowed it. and that means the judge didn't let it be known and should be fined or something
I heard that a ref put a picture up on facebook with him in a saints jersey and he got banned from reffing their games or something

I agree about cormier. I feel that he should've been able to finish mir
but he did admit that he was way more nervous than usual and that he got tired. debuts always kind of get a pass from me because of the octagon jitters. because I've seen what cormier can do. but he needs to step it up if he is going to continue to talk about title shots

Hen-Mel was a great match... I haven't actually watched a fight live in a while and it was a great one to come back too. Two great warriors going head to head, blow for blow... I think Hen's legs saved him
Agreed...on Cormier and the judge situation.I only caught the last two fights but was glad to hear that Diaz racked up another loads..as good as he is I just never cared for him.Did he get knocked out?
he got caught with a couple glancing head kicks. then one landed flush in the second and wobbled him and Thompson pounced. he ate a shot or two before going down and ate some more. diaz's corner actually threw in the towel but it didn't matter because the ref had stepped in anyways
Henderson's got tree stumps for legs man. I've liked gil for a while too. it didn't matter to me who won since I liked both of them. I thought ben's wrestling would come more into play and be the deciding factor but damn, gil's take down defense was on point.
