Cub Swanson= great fights. That's what kind of fighting I and everyone want to see. Balls out fighting, not looking for a decision, take chances, punches, kicks, throws, he has it all. One of my favorite fighters. I hate watching guys try to eeek out a decision and dance around like a fairy.
i know man i really liked that fight, great moves, and like you said the guy knew how to take his chances

Anderson can't ruin his legacy. it's already in stone. only way he ruins it is somehow someone proved he's been using steroids for years or something like that

anyways, I feel that Anderson didn't take the fight serious. he's been getting away with dropping his hands, getting into his opponents' heads for a long time and, at 38, it shows you can only do that so long.

I feel like he was gaining momentum and taking control of the fight, it looked like Weidman had a major adrenaline dump because he looked more tired that soon into the fight. he also looked more ripped than usual which told me he was either dehydrated or overtrained which can affect your gas tank. but props for him to keep his composure and execute when Anderson purposely left openings

I started to feel like chris wasn't on Anderson's level and if Anderson had just been serious and not clown around he could've taken that fight. but that is what he gets for clowning around. I agree with dana, every one says chris didn't let Anderson play with his head but he was definitely getting to chris' head. but the difference between chris and the other guys that fought Anderson, he's able to execute and capitalize on an opening. props to the new champ

Than how do you explain Weidmans dominant first round? He took Anderson down lightening fast and got in some great ground and pound almost got him on a knee bar and heel hook as well. What do you guys watch?

it wasn't a dominant first round. yes he got a take down, landed some decent shots but Anderson got back up and started clowning chris. chris looked like he was tired once it got back to the feet and Anderson started clowning around. he was not close to getting a submission if you know what you are looking at

I know you hate Anderson, but seriously, Anderson looked like he wasn't even trying.

and i'm not making excuses or defending Anderson. he lost fair and square but I feel that Anderson wasn't taking the fight serious and he paid for it

exactly this, i didnt want anderson to win, but i was expecting him to like always lol, but when i say him go down i was shocked, it was a good fight and im gald chris won, hopefully this will shown new fighter to take fights seriously

and it started to look like chris was gonna be another guy who gets clowned like a kid trying to fight his dad

I don't mind the dropping of hands and playing mind games, but he went too far with the acting like he was hurt. bit him in the butt

haha i know right! i wonder what happens next, dose Anderson keep fighting, and if so dose he stop playing mind games?

well, it's good that he loses.

I truly feel he's been on top so long that it seems he is losing interest. I mean, even after the fight, he said he didn't wanna fight for belts anymore.

but I hope a rematch happens. I hope he fights seriously and it doesn't matter if he loses or wins. I just wanna see him fight like how he did when he first started in the ufc. i mean, when he fought chris leben, rich franklin or dan Henderson early on, he didn't do any of this stuff. that early on he didn't even drop his hands and taunt because he still had something to prove. at this point i think he feels he doesn't need to prove anything and so stops trying 100%

he literally looked like he was just sparring and not even going hard
