See that kinda talk worries me. I like my graphics crisp. but I also played Mass effect one and I liked it... from what I'm told I'm missing out on gears of war 2 but It might feel out dated now with all the games that came out after it.

Honestly, Either system is going to be great for you. I personally have both! PS3 has a lower failure rate but even Microsofts failure rate is low enough that it shouldn't effect your purchasing decision. If you're looking to save money though, go with the PS3.

i say xbox 360 cuze of xbox live. and yes this new one is short but they are going to be making a 3rd to continue the story, very very soon.

but xbox live is $50 a year! If that's the only thing you're basing it on then the PS3 is a better choice as the playstation network is free.

yes i you may half to pay for it but it offers i think a lot more then ps3 online. idk right now sens prices are the same for both its really dosent matter, just personal prefrence. the ps3 does have blue ray tho so thats another point in its direction.

oh for sure! I Just don't understand why people think xbox online has more features. I'd like one fanboy to name one thing xbox live has that psn doesn't besides cross game chat (which I think is pointless lol).

I would like to reiterate that I do have both systems and am not a ps3 fanboy.

Guess I'll have to wait till the cash is in hand to make a decision. Spending all my money on supplies for my tank and for my fishing trip to Oman on the 25th.

i made the swith to xbox after my ps2 took a crap on me i love my 360, i dont have xbox live yet so i cant make a valid statement. there both more or less the same thing if you ask me, just which one you like.

The argument continues. Its actually a simple decision. Look at which console has the exclusive games you want. 360: Gears of War for example, or PS3: Gran Turismo. Then chose that console.

I always say the best console is the one hooked up to your tv.

MW2 is insane though. And took even less time to beat campaign mode than it took me for SW: Force Unleashed. Online Play is leaps and bounds ahead of World at War. You get points for ending a kill streak, comebacks, killing the player that just killed you, it rocks!

Three-and-a-half hours... Good God. What's happening to gaming these days? 6 hours is like the NORM for games now... I'm from the 20+ hour Era of gaming.

Same here, I don't play games much anymore but I love the games that you actualy need to take several days to accomplish.

This was the first COd game i had bought and really played alot. And for me it seems rather childish in a way.

For example in multiplayer you can run around like crazy and have a score of 10-kills and 35-deaths, and get just as many points as a very tactical player with a score of 10-kills and 2-deaths. But its a game and i guess they have to make it more fun than factual.

And for me the choice of console was easy. I use my ps3 for
stereo
cd player
live streaming movies from netflix
free online game play
dvd player
blue ray dvd player
surfing the web online

Before I got the ps3 my entertainment center was full of junk. Now it has a ps3 and a surround sound amp.
