All games now days are built to be played online live. Some games don't even have a campain they are just online only.


I would guess that the multiplayer online part would take a average player a couple of months or so to complete or get to 100%. And even then the play would change from match to match.

The offline game play is there only as a warm up so to say.

Never really got into the online play at all. Sure it's fun, but I like going to a friends house and playing multi, to each their own.

I don't like sharing my screen with anyone. One day If I get married and have kids , They'll want to play on my system or play with me and i'll be like

Me " Get yer own console!"
Kids " Ok give us money daddy!"
Me "Ennnno."
Kids " but why?"
Me " because your grandaddy never liked games"
Kids " so?"
Me "So I suffered for it , now it's your turn"
Kids " Mom!"
Wife " Honey , let them play"
Me " Ennno."
Wife " Fine , you're sleeping on the couch"
Me " If I'm on the couch I won't be sleeping , I'll be gaming ... I win , all of you are Pwned."

Oh and I totally 4got to give props to my Boi Kojima for the MGS games.

Amen. The last one had novelty, even though I thought it was a little much. Other than that though, they are all awesomely thought out.

I finished the campaign in about 6 hours and 20 mins, but it does seem that most games these days are more online orientated . I spend most of my time on rockband + guitar hero games anyways lol

and they made the acog more sh@tty(coming from personal experience of using all these optics).
also why a doctor sight as a red dot, have you ever seen how small they are. Better off on pistols.

The heart beat sensor did sound like a bit of a strech to me. I know we have Swiss army phones now that do everything but your laundry and google earth which makes me wonder how far Military tech has come , but c'mon.... did you know there is a program by MIT researching the possibility of NANO suits like the ones from Crysis? Appearently their goals are to give US soldiers the ability to jump twenty feet in the air and crush rocks. far fetched , but so was flying once upon a time.

its a cool game i guess... i personally dont like the modern warfare games. not just COD, but any that have to do with modern warfare. just cant get into them. GOW, Halo, ect... are my preference.

oh for sure! I Just don't understand why people think xbox online has more features. I'd like one fanboy to name one thing xbox live has that psn doesn't besides cross game chat (which I think is pointless lol).


I would like to reiterate that I do have both systems and am not a ps3 fanboy.

MUCH bigger following. (i.e., more people playing live, makes finding parties way easier)
More online events
Online free downloadable demos
Download music videos
Much larger text and icons, which makes it easier to read (Talking about live)
Achievements. (Eh. Kind of a BS argument. I, for one, LOVE achievements. However, they are pretty pointless in the grand scheme of things. I'm just throwing it out there, since PS3 doesn't have any)




Keep in mind I haven't played PS3 in several months, so I may not be aware of any updates that might change the above list....
