how does the water go into the overflow? if it's up and over the tank rim then its a siphon type.

It flows through the louvers that are located at the top/rim of the panel. So it more of a gravity not a siphon, just like a regular internal overflow box, as the water reaches a certain height of the over all aquarium, then the water overflows to the boxes. As far as food getting trapped in the louvers it would be the same as an internal box, which when I had my 300 gallon had the same issues sometime pellets would go through the lovuvers or an occasional minnows and required retriveing.
Unless you are referring to a non drilled external overflow box that just sits on to the side of the tank with that u shaped suction tube like I am using on my non drilled 125 gallon holding tank???

Oh my, that some insane mechnical filtration, all of a sudden I feeling like I need more as well. lol I will research the Pentair Rainbow RTL-100 filter, never heard of this.
A platform for access, sound so Sea world, you be able to do feeding shows for guest,

They are actually spa filters. Have two little RTL-25s on my 300 gallon tank and love them so much, I have to have them on my big tank. The cartridges get full of crap/junk...heard they can be cleaned by soaking in bleach... but we just replace them because they get so gross and dirty.

Yes I checked them out online, reminds me of my pool filter just smaller. The bleach really works though. All you need is to bring them out side and a real quick spray down with the hose (less than a minute to get the big stuff off), then set in a large container with top, soak in water and bleach until ready to rotate again, when you go to use it again it will work just as well as it did the first time you used it...

Jsut trying to figure how to keep the build thread going with a header..New pic later today 800 gallon..Is there a way to chage the original topic to say build thread instead of build thread soon?

Christmas came early this year...or is this last year's gift that is 11 months late? lol Just teasin man. Glad to see this monster finally came in. I believe moderators are able to fix/change thread titles...hopefully they can help you out. Maybe try PMing one of them?

Looking forward to seeing your progress...with lots of pix please!

I love your fish room. It looks like the room was made just for your tank! Liking the background! Are your return holes on the side of the tank? Are your Nuclear canisters going to be plumbed directly to the tank, or are they going to be plumbed to the wet/dry filter pumps?
