it is an ansorgii IMHO.. large ansorgiis sometimes doesn't have markings... i have one at 15" and a congi they do look different... most of the pics posted here on the huge bichirs are large ansorgii...

The only thing I like gray base ansorgii is that they develop more green patches. Overall I still prefer the classic on with dark checkered patterns.
