Never kept a clown knife before. They didnt interest me that much when i was younger. They hide a lot. I would try sinking carnivore pellets for clown knives...

I think I may have found my fish. Bocourti perhaps? They get good size are omnivores and are relatively peaceful. Has anyone kept these fish? Opinions?

I have a bocourti in my 1850g , they are a great fish, no aggresion what so ever. They are also very stricking.

of course the Pacu still stays :) I've seen a lot of negative comments towards these fish but given the correct amont of space they are hard to beat personality wise. Seeing a large Pacu eat peanuts if a pretty cool sight.

Bocourtis a good choice. Large colorful cichlids that are peaceful. Pacus have amazing personality. I love their DUH expression when they look at you.

I personaly don't think much of pacus, but I can see where the facination comes from, a very big fish with a good personality. You will need a good filter you didn't already know, you may have keep one before by the sounds of things.

ive weened a clown knife on pellets, alot say it cant be done, ive done it but at a young age, my clown was aout 3 inches when i got him, wouldn't take the food at first, and i thought he was gunna die on stavation, i guess he thought, AWWWW **** IT!, ate the stuff then thought, HEY! THIS STUFF IS GREAT!!.

A tank that big an arowana is a must! Would go good with the giant
Gourami and tinfoils. Here's an idea, throw a black shark into the mix,
they get huge and eat anything!
