I say get it, at a discount rate ofcourse. Hydrocynus sp. like their cousins, the piranha have very good regenerative capabilities. Like a few people already stated, good husbandry, a lg. water surface, and less stress, the fish should continue to grow, as will it's snout, and in due time the fish should make a recovery of 95% or better. Goodluck on what'ever purchase you make. I currently have a 6.5" goliath tiger being held for me, it's only flaw is the regenerating caudal fin-trailers due to transpo. stress.

they confused armatus for goliath, which they confused for a vittatus. ive been looking for goliath, so i didnt mind picking it up. at c328 it was as you know....already in the bag. so it was washed out and you couldn't see the mouth due to bag distortion. lol:S
