Everytime I see one that's over that 1' mark, it attacks the glass when anyone walks by and looks at it. It's kind of interesting behavior, but MAN...IT'S UGLY WHEN IT'S BIG!
actually i have a white one pushing more than 20" mark
: ...it's definetely start to show some agression...everytime i walk over on the tank, it sure does attack the glass...unfortunately i haven't had a chance to move him to a bigger tanks...he's in a small tank now...i actually am going to move him to a bigger one pretty soon..and IMO, it doesn't look ugly..the plump in the head make him looks bigger in the head...and the lips is so freakinly thick...will post pics later..
my questions is that is it ok to put the gouramies w/ other fish, such as black ghost, golden clown knife, silver dollar, and botia? all of them are pretty small though and easily got eaten by the gouramies (I think)...this might look like a stupid question, i know, but isn't gourami is a herbivora? the gouramis has eaten pelletes all its life...will he develop a taste for a meaty snacks?
