Look up R1 post. He has a monsterous Congicus. I would've posted it for you but since you're selfish about posting picture of your Endli I'm showing you the meaning of what goes around comes around.
He doesn't want to see a monsterous Congicus! :screwy: He wants to see a monsterous Kayo Congicus!:ROFL::ROFL:

Your waterchange routine sounds like a lot of work. This is will not work for me with 3 tanks to fill. Mark should just buy my polli and wild caught senegals. He might be already too late again.:D

Was this congi caught from "Kayo", because Kayo is from Burkina Fasso, Africa which is not Congo, Africa and they are far apart from each other. Also there is another Kayo from Zambia which is close from Congo.

They should call it Polypterus endlicheri congicus "Kayo Zambia"

It's not extra work, just slower.

Why would you call it that when you don't know which Kayo it came from?

That was the first location I found when I was looking into where this 'kayo' is in Africa, but I found this 'Lac Kayo' which is in Congo, it is a large lake, and prime polypterid habitat.

Just another possibility, only the collectors know for sure where they came from. 'Kayo' doesn't even mean anything to me other than it works as a quick way to refer to the wild congicus brought in by Wes.

Joe had some from Wes and Toyin, he could tell you if he noticed any differences.

It's just confusing if it's just "Kayo" as there are many places called "Kayo" in Africa. Or he should labelled it Lac Kayo.

Thanks for being a total jerk as usual. You're just like Ho Chi Minh for this reason. You're always putting yourself up on the pedestal and put everyone down. If you really know what "Kayo" means you would have to read the post above you. You're trolling with innuendos toward other people. Get off my nuts old fart.

I agree it's confusing especially since both 'lac kayo' and Kayo, Zambia are both within the range of P.e.congicus.

That being said, Wes was told that the delhezis were caught from the congo river, which is located in Congo. The natural range of delhezi and congicus overlaps a lot, but only the congicus has range further south into Zambia.

Because of the major overlap, I believe that the small lake kayo is much more likely to be the source of the fish, since it would be easier for the collectors to gather fish from the same area within the same country, there is no need to travel down to Zambia to collect congicus.

'Lac Kayo' the small lake near the city Pointe-Noire in Congo, is north of the congo river, but much closer to it than Zambia.

I have a hunch 'Lac' could simply mean 'lake' since google maps has lake Tanganyika labeled as 'Lac Tanganyika'.

To top it all off, the importer himself knows they are from the Congo region:
