what size wood are you using?

For the stand, I'm using 2x6 for the base and top with vertical 2x4's for the "legs". The 2x4's will be sandwiched between the 2x6's. I'll post some pics soon, it'll be more clear.

On both site site and CF.com, I can't get over how awesome your tank is. I wish I could find some driftwood like you have there, even the lighting seems perfect. I can't wait to see the 350!

Thanks a lot for the kind words. The driftwood, I've just picked up along the way from different LFS's. The lighting is four T5's at 6500k.

I love the way your fish will all get along.
Im jealous of that.

Thanks. Like I said, it takes a lot of work and a lot of luck. But, it can't be said that it's not possible. The only hurdle I've still got to overcome is the move. That's when problems could arise. But, I think it'll be just fine.:)

Thanks again everybody for looking.;)

It's funny but the O grabs my attention more than the others. How does the big baby do with the rest?

Albie, the big albino Oscar, has the best personality in the tank by far. He's like a big dog wagging his tail every time I go near the tank. They all get on just fine though. :)

just try to keep them as seperate as possible. I was sure that, after living for 6 years together without incident, my RD and Cons could stay in a styrofoam cooler together for 2 hours. not so lucky. she killed my two biggest, oldest, and most impressive males.

no worries, though, another generation of those buggers came soon enough.

I feel pretty naive now, though; I should've seen it coming.

you can never be too careful...

that's a helluva collection, by the way. can't believe a con ran that gauntlet. they are some hardy sumbiches. i've bred about 6 generations, with a rd in the tank. never seperated or anything. survival of the fittest!

These guys are all going straight from the old tank to the new one. But thanks for the tip. You live and learn. And yes, this convict surprised me. When he showed up out of nowhere at about 2", I didn't know what to think.:D He must've hidden in the rocks until he had enough guts to come out. Thanks too for the kind words.

You're welcome. Just keep in mind, what works for me may not work for you. But it does work for me. Good luck and if you ever need anything, just shoot me a PM (or post it here).;)
