This thread is truly amazing. You are luck that you can do what you want so many dreams fulfilled. lol The fish are great looking. More pics of them too please.

Thanks for the kind words. Dreams fulfilled, that's good.:D But, yeah, it's pretty awesome. I'm going to try and do a photo shoot tonight. I'll post up some pics if I can get some decent ones.

Bad news, my daughter spooked Tiny and slammed into the glass hard. He's not doing well at all. I don't know if he'll make it. He's breathing, but can't swim. Time will tell I guess, but I'm broken up. There's nothing I can do but watch.:(

im sorry, such a beautiful fish. i hope he pulls through. maybe like a concussion and it will take a while to shake it off. GL keep us updated

Thanks.

He's still not doing well. He's alive, but just barely. When I checked on him three hours ago, he was trying to swim. But, I really don't think he's going to make it.:(

gorrrgeous fish my man..love the female Tiger.

Nice stuff u've got there. You're a great man. Hope your Jag's gonna be ok. Keep up the good work and make us envy u for what u have over there. I have a Jag female .... bulking up every day.... She should be 15" in no time. 200 gals tank so I didn't dare to buy a male ... yet (and anyway ... I've got a JD pair and a GT pair .... Chitala and ID Sharks and many others ... didn't want to risk their lives with a Guapote pair). It's truly awesome. Hope to see some new pics of THE TANK soon.:headbang2RESPECT

I'm currently trying a similiar thing in a 180 gallon...currently all fish are under 3"...was wondering if you believe raising all together will lead to more tolerance once they reach maturity?

Sorry to hear about Tiny, T. Ferg! How is he?

Thanks a lot. She's showing awesome colors even at a smallish size.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. Good luck with yours and I'll get some updated shots of the stand later tonight. I've got some more work done on it.

Probably so if one fish doesn't outpace the others in growth. But, I've had fish raised together since fry along with adding big fishes to the established community in this tank. It has worked out for me either way. Good luck and start a thread with pics.

Thanks. I'm almost certain he's paralyzed from the "waist" down. He doesn't move his tail and only tries to swim when I get near him with the net. And when I say swim, it's very uncoordinated. He hasn't improved at all. It's not looking very good.

But on the bright side (if there is one), I picked up a small setup and plan to syphon out Tiny's fry as soon as they are free swimming. So, he can live on through his offspring. It still really really sucks though. He was my prize fish and my personal favorite. Thanks again for the concern.

Whatever-your tank is a large exception to the rule-I have followed your thread and every 4 months or so you lose a fish-if you knew anything about TSN you would know that they get too large for a 350 gallon and will eventually eat your fish.
