Whatever-your tank is a large exception to the rule-I have followed your thread and every 4 months or so you lose a fish-if you knew anything about TSN you would know that they get too large for a 350 gallon and will eventually eat your fish.

You are retarded. That's why the mods keep deleting your posts in my super long thread on cichlid-forum.com. My Tiger Shovelnose Catfish are being trained right now to infiltrate your tank and eat all your fishes. They are like the A Team, Rambo, fourteen ninjas, and Chuck Norris all in one. :mr-t: They are my "Blackout Team". Good luck stopping them. They'll be in disguise.

And for the record, I've lost two fish. One to ich and one to jumping out. That's hardly what I'd call losses due to overstocking or aggression. I haven't had a single fish murder in the year this has been set up. You can't say the same. Maybe you missed all those posts here and on cichlid-forum about the THREE pairs of Parachromis breeding in the same tank (190g) with no violence? And you still act like I don't know what I'm doing? Again, you're a retard. Take your jibber jabber oinkery somewhere else. All you do is say the same things over and over. "My tank is going to explode", etc..

Remember when you said that my tank wouldn't last two weeks? Remember when you said if it lasted a year I'd be "teh cichlid king"? Two more weeks until my coronation.;)

Now go back to lurking and only posting once every four months just to take a jab at me. My threads, posts, pictures, and tanks speak for themselves. You'll find that folks here on MFK are a lot less receptive to that "it can't be done" atitude of yours than at cichlid-forum. There are more tanks like mine than you think. This is Monster Fish Keepers after all.

Funny. You said the exact same thing three weeks ago which was also the last time you posted here on MFK.

You don't contribute to this forum. You don't belong here. And if it was up to me, you wouldn't be here. Your posts are just jibber jabber. You never really say anything. You don't help people. You fit the definition of a troll more than anything I've ever seen. Go do something with yourself that rhymes with stuck.

All but the Convict. He should be named 'miracle' or something for surviving from fry size with these guys.:D I guess I never named him because he was supposed to be food. Maybe I'll call him 'dinner'.
Dinner! I love it.

The mods should ban that loser. And someone should kill him ... a big favor to mankind. Waitin' for your pics. How are things goin'? How's the Jag? I was thinking about euthanasia or somethin'. These Guapotes are killin' me ... I'm already thinking about my next tank ... something lika 230gals ... at least .. for my future Jag pair. Anyway .... cheers. Don't keep us waitin'.

P.S. Ignore those freaks. Wipe your shoe and the **** won't smell.:grinno: The world's plenty of them. Someone probably forgot to clean the dog poop.

I don't think he should be killed, lol. But he is a jerk. He sure knows how to push my buttons. He mainly just says the same things over and over and over. "All my fishes are going to kill each other and me too.". Most can see him for what he is, but he gets on my last ever loving nerve.

As for the jag, he's still alive but not improving. His back is most likely broken. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to put him down but I don't want to. It's just hard, he's my favorite.

I got some more work done on my stand today. Check it out.

I attached 1/4" oak plywood on the entire outside. I used one solid piece on each side for strength and beauty (no seams showing). You're looking at one end with the front of the stand facing up.

Another view. This time you're looking at the bottom with the front of the stand facing up again.

Here you can see the columns starting to take shape.

A little further with the columns.

And finally, a very small pile of wood with a big price tag, lol.
DSCF3175.jpg

Underneath the 1/4" oak is 1/2" CDX plywood all around for more structural integrity. I ended up having to borrow a buddy's air compressor and brad gun to get this 1x oak stuff on. I was bending nails left and right with the old hammer, lol. I'll have some more progress and pics to go along with it tomorrow.

It should move pretty fast now to finish the construction. The finish, however, should take a week or so to do properly. First is applying the pre-stain wood conditioner and letting that dry. Then one or two coats of stain and letting it dry. Then, six or seven coats of polyeurathane with 24 hours drying time and steel wool in between each coat.

johndoe21ro, by the way, you guys make great ak's over there in Romania. And thanks for the support.

The oak looks good and does get pricy, but it's worth it in the end. I did mine cabinet in oak 1"x
I probably should have used oak plywood and saved some money. Keep the pic's coming is looks great so far.

Here you go...

More work on the columns.

The columns one step further.

Here's the 1x8 oak that will wrap around the top and bottom of the columns.

And here's the trim that will wrap around the entire top and bottom of the stand.

Thanks again for looking and thanks for this forum.:)

Wow bro! That stand is looking great!

Thanks. It's almost finished, but I ran out of material. I need four more feet of 1x8 oak and some more brads and I'll be able to finish it up.

Check out these shots of it all trimmed out. In the first one, you're looking at the right side of the stand with the front facing up.

In this one, you're looking at the front still facing up.

Just a little more work and it'll be ready for stain.:)

Thanks again for looking and thanks for this great forum.

Ok that's it i'm subscribing to this thread. The stand is beginning to look amazing.
