Sweet looking stand! It's nice to see someone doing a stand that's not just 2x4's nailed together!

Thanks for the compliment. I did my last stand like that, 2x4's and all. It's beautiful in it's function, but not at all in it's aesthetics. It offers easy access to everything, being entirely open. And I like being able to see the sump, I guess I'm wierd like that. When I built the last stand, I was in a hurry to get the tank set up as quickly as possible. I swore I'd finish the stand nice on the outside, but never got around to it. This time I wanted to do it up right from the beginning. This one will be functional with easy access through large doors and pleasing to the eye.

It's turning into the nicest stand I've ever seen and worthy of a 350gal. Good luck finding that piece of trim.

Wow, thanks a lot. But the guys on reefcentral.com put me to shame. That's pretty much where I got much of the inspiration for the trim work on this stand.

Oh, and I found the trim I needed and got the stand finished up. I got enough while I could to make a canopy too. The stand is now in the putty stage.

Thanks again for the compliments and thanks for looking.;)

that stand is amazing, i think its awesome to see some new trends in stand asthetics, as well as functionality, great job

Thanks. I really wanted something nice this time. This tank is literally a dream tank. I felt it deserved a dream stand too.

I have another update to offer as of today. The female loiselli has finally decided to lay some eggs again. It's been almost three months since the last time she did. At that time, she was dropping them every three to four weeks like clockwork with the male loiselli. None were ever able to hatch as they would be eaten before making it that far. We'll see what happens this time. If you'll remember, she chose a new partner about three weeks ago, the freddy.

And not to be outdone, Shorty, the female jag appears as if she's ready to drop eggs very soon as well. She's already cleaning out her nest and looks to be fat with eggs. This time it'll be with Teeny again.

It looks as if there will be two simultaneous spawns. And while there have been spawns previously from different pairs, they were never at the same time. Things are still calm so far. I'll update when there's news.

Thanks again for looking and thanks for this great forum.:)

Come on. Wanna see the fresh pics..... The stuff is looking too mean. I want one for Christmas, Santa:D. Keep'em coming cause a lot of people are waiting for you man.

P.S. I had no idea there was a facility that produced AKs around here. I guess it doesn't produce that stuff for quite a while. Sounds weird enough.
