Monster sized ammo

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Holy crap! lol, that makes my shoulder hurt just looking at it.

what are you shooting at with that? For the price of the ammo i hope its gold elephants!

are you hunting tanks or something?

Is it a safari gun?

Looks like huge handgun ammo

Why do big game hunters not use military style firearms? A VERY nice magazinge fed, bolt action in .50 BMG could be had for the price of your rifle.

The advantages, to me, far out weigh the disadvantages. You will get MUCH cheaper ammo, more uses then just hunting, MUCH less recoil, and I would be willing to guess way more accurate at longer ranges. Maybe the only disadvantage is weight.

That is going to be one really sweet looking rifle when it's done. I'll start praying for your shoulder now.
And to answer JD7.62, I think the reason most big game hunters don't use military style rifles is because a hunting rifle doesn't carry the bad connotations that a military type rifle would. Granted that both will get the job done but if you have to travel with a hunting rifle, it will draw less attention than a military type rifle. And in some countries, you can't possess military type ammo. It's just a lack of understanding that makes things difficult for big game hunters.
